Well, apparently there is something going on during VMworld at 10:45am Pacific Time on September 1st.<\/p>\n

Not sure what it is, but there are 2 tweets from John Troyer calling for bloggers\/press analysts that are interested in attending either in person or via a webcast.<\/p>\n

What could it be about?<\/p>\n

Could it be about an up and coming Mobile Virtualization Platform that VMware has mentioned over the past year?<\/p>\n

Could it be about a new Cloud hosted offering?\u00a0 Maybe leveraging the SpringSouce acquisition?<\/p>\n

Could it be about VMware giving VMotion and vCenter Server away for free to combat Microsoft’s newly released Hyper-V R2 or Citrix’s XenServer? (Wishful thinking on my part)<\/p>\n

What is in store for the virtualization community?<\/p>\n

Well, we will find out on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
