So, no go for Hyperthreading.<\/p>\n<p>And the SCSI controller is listed as follows: Adpatec AIC-7899, IBM ServerRAID Bios 6.10.24<\/p>\n<p>This is the same box that we installed ESX 3.5 on in this earlier post: <strong><a title=\"VMware ESX 3.5 on an IBM x440?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jasemccarty.com\/blog\/?p=103\">http:\/\/www.jasemccarty.com\/blog\/?p=103<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That being said, it looks like ESX and ESXi 3.5 can run on an IBM x440.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it apparently works on an old IBM e-series x440.
